doc. PhDr. Oľga Gyarfášová, PhD.
Oľga Gyárfášova is a director at the Institute of European Studies and International Relations since 2016. She studied sociology at Faculty of Arts Comenius University, she holds PhD. in comparative political science. In her research work, she focuses on electoral studies, political culture, public opinion, minority rights and gender studies, as well as on analyses of populism and right-wing extremism. She is author, co-author and co-editor of dozens of expert publications. She has been working on several domestic and international scientific projects. Moreover, she is the national coordinator of the European Election Studies (EES) and principal investigator of the prestigious project Comparative Studies of Electoral Systems (CSES). IN 2015-2019 she works on APVV and VEGA projects. As a hosting professor, she attended the University of Innsbruck.
